Emerging Europe Growth Fund II, L.P. (EEGF II) is a mid-cap private equity fund with target aggregate capital commitments of $300 million for investment in Ukraine and the Region. It is a follow-on fund to Emerging Europe Growth Fund, L.P. (EEGF), a $132 million fund raised in 2006 with a similar investment strategy. EEGF II will invest on average $20 million in each of its portfolio companies, considering expansion, buy-out and selective early stage opportunities. EEGF II held a first close of $122 million in February 2008.
