The workshop attracted administrators of four higher education establishments and students who arrived to discuss students’ self-governance in Pavlograd, Ukraine. The participants had a pleasure to meet Mrs. Valentyna Selina who is the head of youth and family department of Pavlograd city council executive committee.
The key topics discussed during the seminar included team-building mechanisms for effective cooperation, history and best practices of students’ self-governance, legislation, elections, and effective planning for students’ self-governing bodies.
For the first time it became possible to unite the efforts from teachers and students in addressing the problems of students’ self-governance. On the workshop's completion, the project experts believe that joint efforts will be effective and mutually-beneficial for both students and teachers, especially, in securing effective work of students’ self-governing bodies within their educational institutions.
