During the celebration of the eleventh anniversary of the Embassy of God, Pastor Sunday Adelaja was presented with the award of Defender and Protector of Human Rights.
During the celebration of the eleventh anniversary of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations, Pastor Sunday Adelaja was presented with the award of Defender and Protector of Human Rights. The presentation was in the Palace of Sport, the largest indoor hall in Kyiv, with 15 thousand witnesses present. The International Committee of Defense of Human Rights gave the award.
The International Committee of Defense of Human Rights consists of 247 non-governmental organizations. It has opened 44 offices in nations around the world, such as Austria, Latvia, Czechoslovakia, Iran, USA, Nigeria, Great Britain, Russia, Germany and India. The committee has representatives in the International Court in Strasburg, Germany and has been invited as official consultants for the United Nations. The main purpose of the committee is defense of human rights and achievement and a universal Bill of Rights, which was accepted in the third session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, December 10, 1948.
During the speech, the head of the committee, Igor Danilov, noted that many of the main goals of their organization are similar with those of the Embassy of God concerning human rights. Danilov congratulated the congregation on the eleventh anniversary. He described a holiday mood of happiness and joy. Mr. Danilov gave a golden Medal of Honor and dignity for international community and personal sacrifice in defense of human rights.
