The Secret of Righteousness
Genesis 6:8-9 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the
LORD. 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in
his generations, and Noah walked with God.
We can read about many people whom God honored with special
attention. But how did they get it? Is it possible to live a righteous life and
keep a good conscious in the present day? The answer is in the verse 9: “Noah
walked before God”! Not, from time to time he remembered about God and tried to
please Him – Noah felt God beside him all the time! And it must be our desire,
because God isn’t interested in our deeds, but in our attitude towards Him.
Noah made mistakes too, but his right relationship with God was
like a bolter and his life going through it was getting cleaned of rubbish. Noah
tried to understand how to walk in righteousness. He strived to be what God
expected him to be. He was obedient to God. And God edified Noah, told him what
to do.
Psalm 15:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he
is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Our spirit should be the same as in the Psalm. It’s very
important for us to trust God, be firm in our spirit so that we aren’t
embarrassed in any situations, but have the opportunity to lean on Him.
We should get used to the feeling that God is always beside us,
it should be natural for us. We should live with this attitude and then no
situation will take us by surprise.
Remember:
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness;
and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end
of the world. Amen.
Benny Hinn, a worldwide preacher, has written a book “Good
morning, Holy Spirit”. He recommends you simply close your eyes and picture God
in your mind. Picture Him surrounding us and keeping us safe and secure despite
being invisible in the physical realm.
John 14:16-23 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give
you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit
of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither
knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and
the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and
he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will
manifest myself to him. 22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it
that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus
answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my
Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with
him.
A man is a spirit first of all, created by a Spirit. Although,
after the Fall man began to be led by his flesh and soul and because of that he
became vulnerable to the devil’s attacks. But the Holy Spirit lives in every
person who loves God! Let Him guide you! Be led by the Spirit! Develop your
spiritual sight. Feel with your born again spirit what this world can’t feel,
see what the world can’t see. You have in your heart what is secret for the
world. It gives a foundation and the strength to believe. It’s really tiring to
correct yourself constantly saying “I shouldn’t do this and that.” When you walk
with God, hold His hand, you don’t need to fight against your sins any more. God
gives you the power to win without long, drawn-out battles. Sin doesn’t rule
over you any more. Just close your eyes and picture God standing beside you.
Always try to see yourself beside Jesus. Then you are protected from any
frustration and depression!
Greet the Holy Spirit, talk to Him. And you will become
dangerous to the demons that have begun to live in people surrounding you: the
demons will run away.
There are preachers who look for demons; they try to reveal
them in other people. This is nonsense: if there is a demon in someone it will
reveal itself and will flee.
Psalm 33:18,19 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them
that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; 19 To deliver their soul from
death, and to keep them alive in famine.
The Lord is always with those who don’t want to even think or
do anything bad. He is close to people who have a fear of God, who come to God
in their prayer and repent with trembling and humbleness. God comes to such
people. And it makes no difference where you pray: at home, in the church or at
your retreat. If a prayer comes from your heart, God will be beside you and you
will become purified. But, if a man sins and doesn’t want to repent, it is very
bad.
Isaiah 66:1-2 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and
where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and
all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to
him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
You can’t buy God’s good attitude to you. You can’t get it
giving presents to God. He owns everything. He created everything and all
existing things belong to Him. A man can only get God’s favor if he himself has
a good attitude toward God. And fear of God is the most powerful weapon from
sin.
Read books and listen to sermons in order to prevent yourself
from becoming deceived.
Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine,
the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk
before me, and be thou perfect.
Genesis 5:22-24 And Enoch walked with God after he begat
Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23 And all the
days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24 And Enoch walked with
God: and he was not; for God took him.
Abraham wasn’t stable, but was chosen by God. He fulfilled his
part of the covenant – he walked with God and got everything God had promised
him. Enoch walked before God and overcame sin. And God took him. Each person
whom God honored with His good favor loved God, talked to Him, strived to hear
God and be obedient to Him. That is the point! God wants a person to walk before
Him. Then he will get grace and the undeserved power to easily overcome all
obstacles.
