In January, 2008 State Department of Intellectual Property received 469 applications for inventions, 756 applications for utility models, 1632 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 795 - under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in January, 2008 made up 2585 documents of title.

Issues 19/2007 and 20/2007 of the Official Bulletin "Promyslova Vlasnist" has been published. It contains the information on registered titles of protection for industrial property rights.

Total amount of the registered documents of title made up 217053 as of  January,1 2008: 86185 patents for inventions, including registered inventor’s certificates and 20-year after short ones; 29041 patents for utility models; 15593 patents for industrial designs; 86220 certificates for trademarks and service marks, including divisional applications; 9 integrated circuit topographies; 3 registrations of qualified indication of origin of goods, 2 certificates for the right of use the registered qualified indication of origin.

In December, 2007 State Department of Intellectual Property received 646 applications for inventions, 1004 applications for utility models, 2327 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 677 - under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in December, 2007 made up 2286 documents of title.

PIB is a patent documentation search file for official use intended for determining the state of the art during substantive examination of patent applications. PIB was established in accordance with Decree of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 3769 “On the Entry into Force of the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Rights to Inventions and Utility Models" of December 23, 1993 and put into operation on July 1, 1997. PIB contains national patent documentation and foreign patent-information products (in general on modern electronic media – CD-ROM & DVD-ROM) coming from the Patent Offices of the leading countries as well as international intellectual property organizations (EPO, WIPO). The documentation available here includes an extensive back file collection. The PIB’s CD-ROM & DVD-ROM collection as of December 25, 2007 contains 11880 discs.

In November, 2007 State Enterprise "Ukrainian Institute of Industrial Property" received 546 applications for inventions, 796 applications for utility models, 2792 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 1175 - under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in November, 2007 made up 2321 documents of title.

In October, 2007 Ukrpatent received 540 applications for inventions, 757 applications for utility models, 2259 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 1153 - under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in October, 2007 made up 2430 documents of title.
