Magister & Partners Appoints Chief Operating Officer

Magister & Partners, a full-service law firm based in Kyiv and Moscow, announces the appointment of Jason E. Bruzdzinski as its first Chief Operating Officer. This appointment is at the core of the innovation process happening at the firm which has aggressive plans for growth and expansion. Over the next several months Mr. Bruzdzinski will be taking over administration and management of the firm and will chair the firm's Executive Committee while Oleg Riabokon, Managing Partner, will remain responsible for the firm's general strategy, partners' matters, practice and new project development.

For the last seven years Mr. Bruzdzinski worked as a senior adviser for the MITRE Corporation, within a leading U.S. federally-funded research and development center. His role at MITRE included managing and leading multidisciplinary teams to address high-priority governmental challenges. Mr. Bruzdzinski's professional background also includes work at Arthur Andersen, the U.S. House of Representatives, the Asia Pacific Policy Center, American Enterprise Institute, and the Heritage Foundation-Asian Studies Center.

Mr. Bruzdzinski holds a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University, New York (Political Science, with specialization in International Affairs). He is a graduate of Georgetown University (Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service), Washington, D.C., holding a master's degree.
