God has come to Ukraine!
Our greetings to everyone who has come to this hall!
We thank you for sharing our joy in celebrating the birthday of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for all Nations.”
Today, March 31, in the Palace of Sport, fifteen thousand Christians of differing confessions, nationalities and ages are gathered, but they are united by their faith and great love for God, and their great desire to glorify Him. In the well-decorated Palace of Sport, not only official greeters welcome attendees with the words, “be blessed,” but everyone is welcoming. The stage was specially set apart as a vision of heaven on earth. There were six snow-white columns on the forestage symbolizing truth and confirmation. A rainbow in light projected on the stage, illuminating the blue backdrop with yellow, gold and orange vertical accents like ascending sun beams rising from depth of the stage. The Embassy of God emblem was centered on the backdrop. White choir risers waited were filled with the royal blue robed choir.
A fanfare sounded. The holiday ceremony is opened by Sunday Adelaja, the senior pastor of the Embassy of God. “God is great and worthy of all our praises! God is so close to all who love Him and He saves them! I declare the 11th anniversary celebration of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations is open!”
The Ukrainian National Anthem is played. Everyone sings this song celebrating the new, revived, young country. Thank God for everything, He is doing a great work in Ukraine and we will praise His name! Hallelujah! God is great on this earth!
Anatoliy Bugai is on the stage, the leader of Christian Russian band “Open Heaven.” They are playing the song that became prophetical for Ukraine. The first time this song was performed at the 10th anniversary of church last year:
“God has come to Ukraine,
We glorify God, glorify His Son,
The time of awakening has come...”
The song was sung by all the audience in one spirit – the time of spiritual awakening has come!
The hall is full of celebratory cheer and the presence of the Holy Spirit. With multi-colored embroidered shirts, national Ukrainian scarves and golden embroidered scarves, Christian folk chorus “Life Source” under the direction of Yaroslav Mikitin filled the stage. The song “Pray for Ukraine” is positive:
“You will be powerful, Ukraine,
Because we are your nation and your hope”
According to Ukrainian traditions, Pastor Sunday was given a round bread, decorated with doves, symbols of peace and the Holy Spirit, the bread was presented on an embroidered rushnik (Ukrainian traditional towel).
Apostle Sunday: “I am happy I live in Ukraine, but I am happier that I take part in God’s movement!”
Pastor Sofia: “The time of awakening has really come! We have gotten the agreement about the land for our church building. Now we can begin to build. The most blessed and the greatest nation is the nation who has God!”
Pastor Sunday shares a word introducing his spiritual daughter, pastor of Levoberezhnaya church and director of Love Rehabilitation Center, Nataliya Potopaeva.”
-We started our church 11 years ago. I was both the preacher and praise and worship leader and team, in one person on the stage. The eyes of all the people in hall (all 14 people!!!) were staring at me. I was singing and clapping. In the first row there was a woman who stared at me, but didn’t sing. I asked her why she didn’t clap and she replied:
-I will not do it!
-Why?
-It’s not normal for me!
After the service I came up to her and asked her name.
-My name is Natasha, alcoholic.
-Is “alcoholic” your surname?
Today Nataliya Potopaeva is pastor of a church with more than 3,000 people. Thank God for this victory!
