BEIJING. Coaches of the Ukraine diving team were absolutely satisfied with the athletes' performance at the "Good Luck Beijing" 16th FINA Diving World Cup, wrapped up Sunday here. During the event Ukrainian divers 9 times reached the finals, gaining 7 Olympic licenses for the country. Thus, with the 2007 Melbourne World Championship results the team claimed 9 licences for participation in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. According to National Diving Team coach Mykhaylo Uhryumov and head coach Tamara Tokmacheva, 90% of the Olympic team will be formed of the athletes, competed at this Cup. The diving team Ukraine is quite young, but we have some experienced athletes, like Olena Fedorova, Anton Zakarov, Dmytro Lysenko. "All divers are in perfect physical and physiological shape after the current competition and have strong motivation," considers Mykhaylo Uhryumov.
