Customer mood of Ukrainians got better
From April to June 2007 Customer Mood Index (CMI) has risen from 4,5 to 96,9 points reaching the highest value from April 2006. The value of CMI that is less that 100 shows that the customer mood is low. This is the research data of two independent companies "Gfk Ukraine" and the National Centre of Perspective Research (NCPR).
From the first time from February 2006 the index of current position has risen more than 100 points and was 102, rising from April till June by 4 points. When the index reaches more than 100 this means that the people are optimistic.
There is a high consumption level. The consumption level index (x5) that shows the ability of people to buy has risen from April till June to 112,3. The economic expectations also got better the index has risen to 93,0. The expectations of people on development of domestic economy are low, the 3x index (Economic expectations) is about 84,1.
Despite the good Customer Mood Index the expectations of inflation have risen. In June the index of inflation expectation was about 188,9 that is more that in April by 7,2 points. This is the result of inflation increasing in May-June.
The research has been done among 1000 people, 15-59 years old. The error rate: 3,2%
