New Head of Border Guards Service in Belarus

On April 10, Colonel Igor Rachkovsky was appointed as the new Head of the State Border Troops Committee of Belarus. Prior to this, Mr Rachkovsky served as the chief of the Separate Service for Active Measures of the Border Troops of the Republic of Belarus. Major-general Vadim Zaitsev was appointed the first deputy of the State Border Troops Committee of Belarus, the chief of staff. Before that Vadim Zaitsev held the office of a deputy chairman of the State Border Troops Committee of Belarus responsible for operational activities – the chief of the main department of operational activities.
