The Leading Technical University of Ukraine

NTUU"KPI" is one of the oldest (founded in 1898) and greatest technical universities in Europe . 58 Academicians and Corresponding Members, about 2390 professors, senior lecturers work and 40500 students, among them 1600 international students from 46 countries, study at the University. Its glory and traditions have been creating by world wide-known scientists D.Mendeleyev, I.Sikorsky, S.Korolev, S.Timoshenko., V.Kirpichov E.Paton, I.Bardin, O.Mikulin, L.Luliev, O.Vinter, B.Vul, A.Lulka, V.Plotnikov and others.

The Widest Choice of Specialities

There are 20 educational faculties, 9 educational research institutes, 12 research institutes and 13 scientific departments at the University. Besides technical faculties there are a number of economic and humanitarian faculties such as Management and Marketing, Law, Linguistics, Sociology, Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Medical Engineering, Physical Training and Sport.

Three Languages of Instruction

At the University students are training in three languages: Ukrainian, Russian (all specialities) and English (specialities: computer systems and networks, telecommunication systems, aircrafts and helicopters).

Financial Moderateness

Payment for studying and living expenses in Ukraine is considerably lower than those in West European countries, North America and Australia (see paragraph "tuition fees in different languages").

Quality Verified by the Time

NTUU"KPI" attracts students from many countries. Since 1898 - year of its foundation – more then 6000 foreigners from 112 countries have got engineering education at NTUU"KPI". Among them there are ministers, diplomats, cosmonauts, prominent scientists in different spheres of science and technology, great businessmen.

In accordance with the resolution of the government in Ukraine now the system of attestation, accreditation and licensing of the higher educational establishments is in force.

National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute" has received the current license ВПД-ІV № 112568 of 09.07.1998.
