Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for Mid-Career Professionals

Administering Organization in Ukraine: Public Affairs Section, U.S. Embassy

Description: Ten-month, non-degree program for mid-career professionals who have a completed professional degree and at least five years of substential and progressive professional experience in the corresponding field. Candidates should have demonstrated leadership abilities, dedication to public service, self-guidance and professional potential. The program is designed for policy-makers, planners, administrators and managers, and it is expected that candidates will be focused on policy issues rather than research. English proficiency is required.

Fields for Academic Year 2008-2009:

  • Natural Resources and Environmental Management
  • Agricultural Development/ Agricultural Economics
  • Public Health Policy and Management
  • Drug Abuse Education, Treatment, and Prevention
  • HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention

Pre-Application Form: Download the Humphrey Fellowship Pre-Application Form. Pre-Application Forms may be submitted via e-mail (preferably) to kyivhumphrey@state.gov or fax given below. Confirmation of successful receipt of the Pre-Application is sent to all applicants via e-mail.
