Of course, your phone will also contain a unique number which you can start giving out instantly to all your newly made friends. The SIM card is the brain of the phone and is what allows you to make calls within Ukraine and internationally. To start using the phone, you will need to purchase a basic starter scratch recharge card which is sold on virtually every corner of Kiev. Don’t worry, you can also buy this card from us if you so desire; the lowest denomination starts at 25hr ($5) and this is the card's universal cost . Once you have the card, simply scratch off the surface and enter in the PIN number on your handset. Your phone will then display how much talk time is available. Please note that all incoming calls (from around the world) are Free! So even if your credit has been depleted, you will still be able to receive incoming calls. Calls to Western Europe or United States are 30 cents per minute from your phone. If you would like us to get you an international card, please let us know. Cost to dial United States or Europe from Kiev will be low as 10 cents per minute.
