There is a winner inside each of us.



Winners take chances.

Like everyone else, they fear failing, but they refuse to let fear control them.

Winners don't give up. When life gets rough, they hang in until the going gets better.

Winners are flexible. They realize there is more than one way and are willing to try others.

Winners know they are not perfect.

They respect their weaknesses while making the most of their strengths.

Winners fall, but they don't stay down. They stubbornly refuse to let a fall keep them from climbing.

Winners don't blame fate for their failures nor luck for their successes.

Winners accept responsibility for their lives.

Winners are positive thinkers who see good in all things.

Winners believe in the path they have chosen even when it's hard, even when others can't see where they are going.

Winners are patient. They know a goal is only as worthy as the effort that's required to achieve it.

There is a winner inside each of us. Sometimes we just need some mentoring to bring that winner out.

The first thing you have to have to be a winner is BURNING DESIRE to be a winner at something.

When I was in high school I a BURNING DESIRE to the best at advertising because I was outstanding at advertising on my high school newspaper. Because I really didn't love going to school for years and years beyond high school to earn a degree at a University to get a degree in advertising I first went into direct sales. I had a BURNING DESIRE to be the best salesman I could be and also a BURNING DESIRE to be a sales manager. I accomplished those goals. I used to say with confidence, "I may not be the best salesman in this city but I am not afraid to work across the street from the guy (or gal) who claims he (or she) is.

My nephew Robert Fletcher was one of the few salesman who I ever worked with who I felt was actually better at sales than I was.

Winners who have a BURNING DESIRE usually get the prize they are after. I wanted to be the owner of radio stations, I was a partner in one radio station and owned another one by myself. I wanted to own a Advertising Agency and I founded three of them. I accomplished all of the goals I set in business.

Dale Carnegie author of "How to win friends and influence people" says being a winner is being what you really want to be, that may be the operator of gas station, or being a home maker, a farmer, the head of a large public corporation, or sales executive. Winners achieve what they set out to achieve.

Dale Carnegie's adult education courses have taught thousands of people how influence people and accomplish their personal goals.

My Nephew Robert Fletcher wanted to be Millionaire from time he was a teenager. He built his first Million Dollar Company at age 22 and started training others in sales and marketing along with his personal sales. He loves traveling the world teaching his secrets of the millionaires to others.

Winners are people who achieve what they set out to achieve.

The poem "Winner inside each of us" is an accurate description of what you have to have to be a winner in business and in life.

If you have a BURNING DESIRE to be winner, you might want to print "The Winner inside each of us" out and look at it often.

Winners keep their eye on their goal always.

Winners know winning is a team sport.
