Konnov & Sozanovsky Welcomes New Partners

KYIV, 24 December 2007. – The year 2008 will bring 5 new partners to Konnov & Sozanovsky, formerly senior lawyers of the firm: Yevgeniya Derbal, Borys Lobovyk, Helen Popko, Alexey Pustovit and Juliya Semeniy.

The official decision was announced on 21 December 2007 by Sergei Konnov, Senior Partner and Tatiana Gluhovskaya, Managing Partner of the Firm. This brings the number of partners to ten in 2008. The new partners will lead the practice areas in which they previously worked as senior lawyers, namely – corporate law (Helen Popko), antitrust law (Alexei Pustovit), intellectual property law (Juliya Semeniy), tax law (Yevgeniya Derbal), commercial and contract law (Borys Lobovyk).

Sergei Konnov explained, "This decision was the logical consequence of the many achievements of our senior associates, who for several years have been working in our law office, and have already recommended themselves as leading specialists in their respective spheres and have proved their ability to contribute to the development of the Firm and consolidate its position in Ukrainian and foreign markets."
