Advertising campaigns

 

Contest categories

K-1. Complex advertising campaigns and programs that include two or more advertising or marketing communications (TV, print, package, the Internet, BTL, PR etc.)
K-2. Advertising series: advertising campaign of 3 or more elements of any direct communication (TV, print, outdoor, radio etc.)
 
Criteria of entries’ evaluation by jury members:

-         Accordance of advertising idea to declared objects;
-         Quality of conception’s realization;
-         Presumptive effectiveness.
 
The cost of one entry participation:
  • payment made till 31.03.2007 – 75 EUR
  • payment made till 22.04.2007 – 100 EUR
  • payment made after 22.04.2007 - 150 EUR
Common requirements to contest entry content
Category K-1
In entry’s presentation must be:
Description of campaign’s objects posed;
Description of proposed strategy, creative and communication solutions;
Description of results that campaign achieved;
Description of things that differ this campaign and make it deserving of award.

Entries technical requirements
Every entry must be given on separate CD disk in the form of Microsoft PowerPoint presentation for PC (Office 95 Microsoft / 97 / 2000 PowerPoint äë˙ PC). Technical requirements for presentation’s elements:
  • Arial type for text;
  • TV ads in MPEG-1, 320 ő 240 pixels;
  • Print ads, posters, advertising publications in JPEG, RGB;
  • Radio ads in the form of WAV, 44100 Hz, 16 bit.
    (On CD must be indicated: participant, contest category code, entry name).
The non-residents can lay out contest entries made with observance of technical requirements directly on the Festival’s website in the same time with infilling  of contest application.
 
Entries to category K-2 must be given under technical requirements of appropriate category (TV, print, radio etc). Elements’ common quantity (spots, models etc) in one advertising series can’t be more than seven.

TV series must be under next technical requirements:
1. With compression.    On CD or DVD
Video: in MP4 only, DiVX codec no less than 5.1.1
Data stream (b.r.) – no less than 7 Mb/sec, shot size - 720 x 576
Audio: in MP3 only
Data stream no less than 128 Kb/sec, discretization (sampling) – from 44100 Hz, 16 bit, stereo
All spots from one participant must be on one disk in the form of separate files, names must be in Latin letters (Cyrillic is strictly forbidden!), they must be short and be identical by implication with declared spot’s full name, for example: spot "sugar" - file "sugar.avi".
(On disk must be indicated: participant, contest category, entry and file names).
 
2. Without compression.    On Betacam SP or DVCam only.
All spots from one participant must be on one device with 10 seconds interval of black field between spots, no less than 30 seconds of black field from the beginning of film-holder.
(On disk must be indicated: participant, contest category, entry name).

Print series must be given in form of colour A4 prints
(on the back of an entry must be indicated it name and contest category without indicating (!) of participant’s name).

Contest audio entries must be given on CD disk or send by email to Organization Committee after its agreement. Technical requirements for audio file: MP3, 48 kHz, 192 kbps.
(On disk must be indicated: participant, contest category code, entry name).


The non-residents

All post and delivery expenses are paid by the sender.

Dead-line:
- for applications’ registration is April 22, 2007
- for allocation of all entries is April 30, 2007
- payments should be submitted till May 10, 2007
