A Moscow court of arbitration adopted a decision about annulment of the agreement that allowed to pass «Imperskiy Russkiy Balet» trademark.

Till 2005 the above indicated trademark belonged to non-profit organization fund «Imperskiy Russkiy Balet» (Imperial Russian Balet) whereupon it was passed to non-profit fund «Horeografichesky Centr» (Choreographic Center) under the disputed circumstances according to the agreement that became a subject of the action.

According to Natalia Biryukova, Head of Moscow Office of Konnov & Sozanovsky, «it’s most likely that this decision won’t be the last in the dispute and an appeal is possible from defendants. But we are ready to further protect the interests of the non-profit organization fund «Imperskiy Russkiy Balet», and we possess all necessary legal grounds for this».
