Sergei Konnov,  Senior Partner at Konnov & Sozanovsky, was elected as the new President of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) during the first meeting of the Legal Assembly of the UBA in Sudack (Crimea).  Konnov had served as UBA's Vice-President until this time.

Konnov explained to the Legal Assembly's members that his approach to the Association would mark a fulfillment of earlier planned tasks in compliance with new regulations and program activities.

Key directions of UBA's activities are to develop the UBA itself; increase the number of the Association's members; and enhance the efficiency of UBA's projects for its members. Konnov succeeds former President of UBA, Igor Shevchenko.
