European Language School

This is always one of the most popular attractions in the European Village. People love to learn a few basic phrases and words, both useful and silly. Come and celebrate the linguistic diversity of our little continent! Compare and contrast your native Ukrainian or Russian with fellow Slavonic Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Latvian, Polish and Slovak. Spice up your school or university knowledge of German and French by discovering some of the peculiarities of the Austrian and Belgian dialects. You’ll also have a unique chance to explore more unusual languages such as Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Swedish. Who knows: your newfound knowledge might come in handy when meeting other Europeans on Europe Day!

Lessons will be taught in groups of around 6 people per language teacher.

11:00 - 14:00 German (Austria), Bulgarian, Czech, Dutch, Finnish, French (Belgium), Polish, Portuguese.

14:00 - 16:30 Croatian, French (France), Estonian, Italian, Greek, Latvian, Slovak, Swedish.
