The improvisation is the secret that makes the life bright and interesting. Everything in our life once happens for the first time. The Swing is unthinkable without constant improvisation. At the Swing Restaurant the improvisation is the credo. There musicians improvise, creating the original variations of classical, jazz and swing compositions; the chef improvises, making up a new dish, combining the well-known and exotic ingredients; barmen improvise, making fabulous cocktails; and even waiters improvise, serving each customer in different way.
Unaware of any concocted frontiers, swing is the music for all, so does the cuisine of the Swing Restaurant. In its international menu culinary traditions of the countries from all over the world are combined together.
The wine list is the presentation of the best achievements of world wine-making leaders - France, Italy, Spain, Chili, Australia, Argentina, South African Republic and Georgia. The bar menu offers vermouths, beer, whisky, cognacs, rum, tequila, vodka, liqueur and plenty of cocktails.
The collection of the cigars is not very large but quite good. There you'll find St. Dupont Robustos, Dunhill Tabaras, Romeo & Julieta (#2, Cedros, Cherchil, Paneteles), Bolivar Coronas, Cohiba Siglo, Habana Gold Elit Lux Classic King Size Hand Made and cigarettes in assortment.
The restaurant is happy to offer a new collection of drinks and cigars, directly connected with jazz. For example, the guests are treated with wines from California, the native land of jazz. Cigars "Don Sebastian" were the favorite ones of the outstanding musician and composer, George Gershwin, who has gone down in the history of jazz with such compositions as "Summer Time", "Rhapsody in Blue" and others.
The restaurant is remarkable for its live music concerts, taking place every evening at 8:00 pm.
One of Duke Ellington's compositions is called: "It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing". This saying is quite true about the Swing Restaurant as well.
