Konnov & Sozanovsky being the corporate member of the IFA participated at its annual Congress, which took place in Kyoto (Japan) from September 30 till October 5, 2007.

This annual Congress marked the 61st anniversary of the Association, which grew up to be the biggest legal public organization, uniting under its auspices tax experts from various countries of the world. The IFA was established in 1938 with its headquarters in the Netherlands. It is the only non-governmental and non-sectoral international organization dealing with all range of fiscal matters. IFA nowadays unites nearly 11,500 companies from 92 countries. IFA Branches were already established in 52 countries.

Yevgeniya Derbal, senior associate of Konnov & Sozanovsky was quoted as saying: participation in such congresses offers the unique opportunity to familiarize with current burning issues of international taxation and furthermore to establish new and maintain present business contacts with colleagues from around the world.
