Bogdan Khmelnitskiy monument A monument to Bohdan Khmelnitskiy — one of the most famous Hetmans of Ukraine who leaded a freedom fighting war against polish oppression stands in Sofievskaya square. Khmelnitskiy points with his right hand to the north in the direction of Moscow. read more → Kyi, Schek, Khoriv and Lybid (monument to the founders of Kiev on the Dnieper bank) A big boat is swimming through the waves of Dnieper. There are four persons in the ancient clothes aboard — it is three brothers Kyi, Schek and Horiv and their sister Lybid.
