Joint-Stock Company "Gal-EXPO"^®

On October 16th, 1990 the small state enterprise "Lviv-EXPO" was registered. Now company is operating in the market as "Gal-EXPO" JSC. This enterprise was established on the basis of Lviv Quality, Metrology, and Standardization House of "Systema" Research-and-Production State Association that already had the significant experience of realization of various presentation actions. Afterwards the state enterprise was reorganized into the lease enterprise, "Gal-EXPO" Ltd., and finally it was re-registered in 1994 as the Joint-Stock Company. Starting since 1999 the name "Gal-EXPO" is a registered trademark. During these years there has been created a dynamic enterprise with modern material and technical basis and advanced working technology, which is famous not only in the Lviv region but also far outside.

Holding of the exhibitions, trade fairs and presentations remains the main profile of "Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC activity. In 1999 "Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC, being among the first five exhibition organizations of the country, received the Certificate of Ukrainian Exhibition's Organizers Federation (VFU). Since year 2000 exhibitions of "Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC are held under the registered trademark "Galician Expositions"(r). During 15 years of its acting in the market the company took part in organizing and holding more than 230 trade fairs in Lviv, in Ukraine and abroad. In Lviv there were held over 120 International Exhibitions of own program, where about 7400 Ukrainian and foreign enterprises and companies from 39 countries of the world participated.

The efficiency of "Gal-EXPO" exhibitions is convincingly proved to be true by the constant tendency of growth of the number and geography of traditional exhibitions participants. Only in 2005 ten international branch trade fairs were held. About 850 firms that represent all regions of Ukraine as well as companies from Belarus, Brasil, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Poland, Russia, Slovakia and USA took part in these events.

In the year 2003 "Gal-EXPO" JSC established annual international Stomatological exhibitions "Dental-Ukraine", that became very popular among the dentists till three years. Today these exhibitions are the biggest by the area held by the Company.

Among the achievements of "Gal-EXPO" JSC there is a long-term cooperation in organizing exhibitions along with the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, Ministry of the Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, exhibitions and presentations held jointly with the companies "Minolta", "AutoVAZ", "Rank Xerox", "IVECO", "Reebok", "RISO", "U'tel". In total there were held about 80 trade fairs and presentations made-to-order of other organizers. In many cases the specialists of "Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC are working out the artistic design of exposition and realise whole event construction "on a turn-key basis". The expositions of national exhibitions "Forum of Publishers" in Lviv are traditionally built-in and equipped by "Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC.

"Gal-EXPO" JSC held the organization of expositions of the Lviv region at the jubilee exhibition "Ukraine - five years of independence" (Kiev, 1996), at the exhibition "Ukraine. Look into XXI century" dedicated to the annual meeting of Board of Governors of EBRD (Kiev, 1998) and at the exhibition "Ukraine - step into the new Millennium", in honor of the eighth anniversary of independence (Kiev, 1999), and its exposition was awarded by the Honorary Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In year 2001 the company has organized the exposition of Lviv region at the All-Ukrainian Agricultural Exhibition in Tchubinske and at the jubilee exhibition "Ukraine. Ten years of independence". In 2004 the presentation of Lviv region was held at National Exhibition Center in Kyiv. In 2005 the display of Lviv region was organized at national exhibition “Colorful Ukraine”.

Since 2001 "Gal-EXPO" (r) JSC annually was the general contractor of "Investment Fair" within the framework of the international Economic Forums in Lviv. In 2005 new style of these fairs was introduced. Since last year the international fair of investments and real estate “Ukraine-EU” became the part of “Galician Expositions” program. The President of Ukraine V.A.Yushchenko took part in the work of the fair in 2005.

There was held a series of exhibitions "Ukraine - East - West" in 1993 - 1996 aiming at establishing cooperation of enterprises of Eastern and Western regions of Ukraine under new economic conditions. Such exhibitions with participation of representatives of the above-named regions and companies from Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary took place in Luhansk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhia.

"Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC has organized ten expositions of Ukrainian enterprises at the exhibitions abroad, including the National exposition of Ukraine at the 70-th International Poznan Fair in 1998 and exposition of Ministry of the Agrarian Policy of Ukraine at "Polagra-food" exhibition in 2001. In cooperation with the Polish partners, the company "VOYTEX" from Warsaw, there were prepared more than 40 expositions of Polish companies at exhibitions in Lviv and in other cities of Ukraine. These expositions received the status of National Polish exhibition for three times. As a whole for last 15 years almost 500 Polish firms participated in exhibitions held by "Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC.

The company was a co-organizer of a series of popular sportive and cultural events, art exhibitions, including organization and sponsorship of the first Ukrainian mail-art exhibition in 1998. In 2005 "Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC has sponsored three art exhibitions.

"Gal-EXPO"(r) JSC is working together with several partner companies that were founded with its part - tourism and sale of international air and bus tickets ("Gal-EXPOTUR" travel agency), wholesale trade and furniture manufacturing ("Gal-EXPOCOM" JSC) and printing industry (Joint-Stock Company "Svit drucu" ("The World of Printing").

"Gal-EXPO" JSC is one of the co-founders of the Exhibition's Federation of Ukraine (VFU), a member of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and Lviv Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a member of Lviv Region Business Organizations' Association (OPOL) - a regional department of the Ukrainian Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs, Lviv Regional Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. In year 2000 "Gal-EXPO" JSC was awarded the Honorary diploma of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and in year 2001 it was awarded in one of the main nominations of Lviv city contest "The face of the city" - "For honor in business". In 2005 "Gal-EXPO" JSC was awarded the Honorary diploma of Lviv regional state administration for organizing of investment fair.
