   Who Should Attend?
  Young professionals and mature students from the ages of 21 to 35 who share the dream of a leadership career in business and industry. Global Village interns are a diverse group in many respects, coming from different backgrounds, cultures, countries, and languages.

   This program will enable you to:

• Enhance your leadership skills
  

• Develop a network of friends who are current and future leaders
  

• Clarify your career goals from a "mountain top" perspective

     The program is for all majors - not just for business majors! There are no academic prerequisites and there will be no traditional grades. Instead, interns will select a set of personal leadership metrics and track, with their guides, their own changes over the Gobal Village experience. There is an important, even fundamental, difference between the Global Village for Future Leaders program and other summer programs and internships. This internship program provides learning experiences, not "courses"; and guides, not "teachers." As a Global Village intern you will work with the Iacocca Institute professional staff and your Guides to map out your goals and an experience-based action plan.
