Open Programs and Grants

IATP Internet Grant Program workshop was provided for Khmelnytsky alumni. Three programs were presented to the audience, features of each program were explained, structure of grant proposition was concretized. Materials received from Kyiv were very useful in preparation of the seminar. Choosing the auditory we used the results of the basic questionnaires, which had been filled by alumni in our first meeting. Levin Vladislav, Napytkin Valeriy, Stasyshyn Anatoliy, Sitnikov Andriy, Lyulkun Nina, Kotsur Olena and others were present at the workshop. After the workshop alumni proposed to create poster devoted to their impressions about staying and experience in the USA.

We have held first alumni meeting in Khmelnitsky IATP center. Among the participants, there were Community Connections, PIE, FSA Undergraduate, FSA FLEX, and other programs alumni. Olga Yakimaho, Western NIS Lead Alumni Coordinator (Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine), was present at the meeting. Alumni shared how they used experience which they had received in United States in their work, discussed future plans of their participation in IATP. Also it was arranged to provide several seminars and training for alumni (alumni club).

In the framework of interregional synchro-seminar in all IATP centers in Ukraine, the seminar for teachers of secondary schools took place. The topic of the seminar was “Using of New Computer Internet Technologies for Educational Needs”. The analytical overview of existing Internet sources in educational sphere was presented to participants of the seminar. Also possibilities of using modern informational communicational technologies (Internet Chat) were introduced to educators.

Official opening of IATP site in Khmelnytskyj. Representatives of USA Embassy, sity administration, mass-media, educational bodies and civic organizations visited the ceremony.
