Petro Ivanenko
First Deputy Director, Scientific Affairs

Born on June 16, 1951 in the village of Omelgorod, Olexandria district, Kirovohrad region.

Education
Graduated from the automation and computer engineering department of the Red Banner of Labour Odessa Polytechnic Institute in the specialty “Electronic computing machinery” (1973).

Academic Ranks and Academic Degrees
In 1987, training in-service, Mr. Ivanenko defended his Ph. D. thesis “The Selection and Measuring of Parallel Process Parameters in Computing Systems on the Hardware Component Level” according to the specialty 05.13.13 – computing machinery, complexes, systems and networks.
In December 1999 the Supreme Personnel Review Board granted him the rank of the senior researcher on computing machinery, systems and networks.
Mr. Ivanenko is the author of more than 60 scientific works.

Working Activity
Petro Ivanenko began his working career in 1973 as a computer facility engineer (on March 15, 1973 the facility was renamed the Main Scientific, Research, Information and Computing centre) of the State Planning Committee of the former Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (Kyiv). For 15 years served in this body as an engineer and manager.
In 1988 he moved to the Institute of Information Registration Problems of Academy of Sciences of the former Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic as a research worker in the digital stimulation systems division. Until the year 2000 he worked at the said Institute as senior researcher, head of a laboratory, deputy head of a division.
In the year 2000 Mr. Ivanenko was appointed First Deputy Director of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Industrial Property Institute” (Ukrpatent).

Marital Status
Mr. Ivanenko is married. He has a son.
