Kraft Foods Ukraine

During 1996 - 2003 Atlas designed and implemented:

  • SCSs, LANs, and interior telephone networks based on PBX Meridian 1 at three sites: the main company office in Kiev (60-port SCS and 48-port LAN), Trostyanets Confectionary Plant (SCS with 300 ports and LAN with 150 ports), the chip-producing factory in Starye Petrivtsy village (SCS with 350 ports and LAN with 180 ports).
  • Power supply networks for LANs at Trostyanets Confectionary Plant and the chip-producing factory in Starye Petrivtsy village.
  • Uninterrupted power supply networks for the company's office and production sites based on centralized no-break power devices and diesel-generator sets with general capacity of 1Mwatt.
  • The fragment of the company's corporate network comprises 4 sites located in Kiev central office, Trostyanets Confectionary Plant, the chip-producing factory in Starye Petrivtsy and warehouse facilities in Sumy. Communication between the hubs is established though FR channels (provider - Golden Telelcom), and ISDN (provider - Utel).
  • In 2004 it is scheduled to join PBX Meridian 1 of the company's remote offices into a single virtual private telephone network.

Zaporozhskiy Fat-and-Oil Industrial Complex

Design and implementation of a campus computer network project, including:

  • backbone cable network (BCN) based on multimode fiber optic cable. The cable network connects 8 administrative and production buildings in the industrial complex territory.
  • due to special requirements (highly explosive and fire risk production) all cable junctions were laid in the air along the existing cable racks and on suspension systems, manufactured and erected by Atlas specialists.
  • currently, data network, based on Hewlett Packard active equipment, enables data transmission at 100Mbit per second with expandability up to 1 Gbit per second.

JSC “Philipp Morris Ukraine”

In 2003 Atlas was granted "Business Partner" status from Phillip Morris Ukraine for electrical installation projects at the company facilities.

Inguletskiy Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise

The requirements specification has been elaborated, and currently a project of corporate multi-service enterprise network with data, voice and video transmission capabilities is being developed. The network will cover all production sites of the company. The main components of the network are:

  • fiber optic backbone cable network, currently being constructed, to ensure running of various telecom applications irrespective of technologies, used for their implementation;
  • backbone data transmission network, namely, corporate technology network based on Cisco Systems equipment;
  • structural cable systems of production and administrative facilities based on Reichle & De-Massari hardware;
  • advanced digital system to ensure telephone communication for the company employees and outside users based on digital switching equipment from Nortel Networks.

Poltavskiy Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise

In December 2003 a modernization project was carried out at the enterprise to update PBX Meridian 1 from option 71 to option 81 with total capacity of 2500 ports. Such enhancement had been necessitated by the fact that the main ATX set, operated since 1993, had become outdated and had failed to meet the company's requirements for telephone services level.

Ukrzheldorsnab, Kiev

Design and implementation of the project for building a structural cable system with 200 ports, a local area network with 120 ports and a power supply network for LAN at the campus of two buildings. The building networks were connected by means of fiber optical cable.

  • Project preparation and implementation period 1999 - 2000.
  • Telecom equipment utilized: Panduit, Reichle & De-Massari (SCS) and Cisco Systems

Gedeon Richter Ukrpharm

Design and implementation of a corporate telecom network project; the network joins two sites located in Kiev and in the town of Vishnevoye, Kiev region, through radio-relay stations. Network switches from Cisco Systems and PBX Meridian 1 from Nortel Networks were installed, and are maintained now.

State International Airport “Borispol”

In March 2004 the PBX Meridian 1 option 61 was updated at the State International Airport “Borispol”, its current capacity amounts to 2100 ports. PBX enhancement project was necessary to transfer to the last version of system software. The task was solved taking into account the need to extend the range of ATX services, improve ATX performance, and the possibility to increase the number of subscribers.
