Getting to Sherborne

From Kiev International Airport Borysipl (KBP),

Driving distance: 35 km(22 miles), approximate driving time is 45-60 minutes.

By car: Leaving the airport join the highway E95 in the Kiev direction. When entering the City keep straight, crossing the South Bridge. Make the first turn right after leaving the bridge (best to keep in right lane when you're half way across the bridge). Keep to the right and from the bridge come down to the road that stretching along the river bank in the SE direction. 500m after passing under the second bridge, pay attention and assume the leftmost lane under a set of traffic lights. Turn left, and keep straight until you reach a 3-way intersection. Turn left driving past a glass small church to your left and the Pechersk exhibition centre to your right until you reach the intersection of the hill road with Sichnevogo Povstannia (Slavy Square). Slowly cross the intersection leaving Ivanov monument and KievGorStroy headquarters on the left and turn into the first arch to your right, just after Kodak photo studio. Keep right on inner road for another 50 meters with Sherborne Guest house is situated on the right.

By public transport: If you plenty of time and want to explore Kiev as locals do, there is a bus option to get to Kiev. The fare is 14 grivnas(2.4USD) with buses leaving airport every half an hour. Board Polit bus right in front of Terminal B. First stop will be in 30 minutes on Kharkovskaya metro station (Blue line) where you take a train to Zoloty Vorota metro station and change the line to Red transferring to Teatralnaya metro station, then you take train towards Lisova metro station leaving the Metro on Arsenalnaya metro station. If you prefer to ride the bus, one and half hour ride will bring you to Peremogy Square out of which you may take a metro to Arsenalnaya metro station. Getting out the Metro system you turn left and walk for 350 metters towards Slavy Square making right

From Kiev Central Bus Station, distance 8 km, approximate driving time is 15 minutes

By car: Find the Tarasa Shevchenko boulevard, turn right towards Kreshcatik, crossing it to the right of Bessarabska Ploscha, by turning right, then left, then right, then left to Klovski Spusk.
