Premier Palañe Hotel sponsors ‘Green Tourism’ exhibition.
A ‘green tourism’ exhibition themed, ‘Invitation to a Ukrainian Village,’ was held on May 19-20 at the Pyrohovo Ethnographic Museum of public architecture near Kyiv. The even was the fourth annual exhibition dedicated to the development of a green tourism industry in Ukraine. The aim is to popularize green tourism and acquaint visitors with Ukraine’s history and heritage.
This year, the Premier Palace Hotel sponsored the exhibition.
"We decided to support this project for several reasons,” said Olexander Lytvyn, chairman of the board of hotel. “Green tourism is a popular movement in Europe, especially in countries like France, Italy, Croatia and Poland. Most guests of our hotel are foreigners, and we see their personal interest in Kiev and the country on the whole. That is why we consider it important to support such projects. It is our contribution to popularization of Ukrainian culture and its historical features.”
In the future, the exhibition’s organizers plan to conduct exhibitions themed, “Invitation to an European village", where rural tourism opportunities throughout the region may be explored. |
