ENLISTMENT PROCEDURE
International Olympiads
participants are enlisted to the university without entrance examinations on condition
that they enter courses, for which the exam on the discipline, they have participated in
the Olympiad, is basic.
Exempt from entrance
examinations and enlisted to the higher education establishment after interview according
to the Admittance Commission resolution may be the following:
| persons, related by the Law of Ukraine "On Status and Social Defence of Citizens, Who Suffered from the Chornobyl Catastrophe" in its edition of 19.12.91 with changes and amendments of 01.07.92 to 1st and 2nd categories, in case they have secondary school honour degrees. |
| winners of the 4-th and the 3-rd stage of (regional) all-Ukraine Olympiads, winners of the 3-rd stage of all-Ukraine content-defences of scientific-research works of pupils Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine members, in case they enter courses of physical, mathematical, philological, historical, engineering, chemical departments, where the basic examination is of the discipline, in which they have been Olympiad winners. |
| school leavers of CIS countries who have won state Olympiads on secondary education disciplines, in case they enter the courses of physical, mathematical, philological, historical, engineering, chemical departments, where the basic examination is of the discipline they have won in the corresponding Olympiad. |
| winners of the 4-th stage of all-Ukraine content on professional skills and Olympiads in special disciplines for final grades vocational schools students, in case they enter the corresponding courses. Such correspondance is stated by the university Admittance Commission. |
Persons not recommended for enlistment after interview, must pass entrance examinations on general bases.
Enlistment proceeds on
content terms considering sum of points, gained in entrance examinations, notwithstanding
form of studies and ways of financing the preparation.
Enlisted beyond content in
case of positive marks are the following:
- persons, who by Law of Ukraine "On Status of War Veterans, their Social Defence Guarantees" have aquired such a right.
- parentless children and those without parental care.
- invalids of 1-st and 2-nd groups, who are otherwise not contraindicated the chosen profession.
- persons, that enjoy priveleges, fixed in the Law of Ukraine "On Status and Social Defence of Citizens, Who Suffered from the Chornobyl Catastrophe" in its edition of 19.12.91 with changes and amendments of 01.07.92 (for the 1-st and 2-nd categories).
- persons that live on radio-polluted territories and have been living here no less than 2 years, in case they are assigned for studies according to special purpose prepapration plans and agreements with the enterprises (3-rd and 4-th categories).
According to the sum of
gained points, there is a special content of special purpose enlistment for those who have
special assignment, according to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Decree of 21.07.92
#408 "On Priveleges for Rural Youth at Admittance to Higher Educational Institutions,
Perfection of Re-preparation and Improvement of professional Skills of the Staff
Systems". Those, who did not pass for special purpose assignments, participate in the
content on general bases.
Having equal sums of points,
the following persons enjoy the right to be enlisted primarily: - those, who suffered from
Chornobyl disaster oe reside on the territories radioactively polluted, in case they are
not enlisted according to admittance regulations, point 24;
- school leavers with gold (silver) medal or graduators from specialized high and vocational schools with honour digree diplomas;
- winners of the 4-th and 3-rd stages of (regional) all-Ukraine Olympiads at whom point 22 does not expire; those who are permanent residents in cities and villages with mountaneous status; entrants who permanently reside in rural districts; military servers retired; those who have greater worker experience; graduators from the preparatory courses, and new-type schools with which university has agreements on active cooperation.
Persons who did not start
classes within 10 days without serious reasons are expired from the university. At the
same time vacant place can be occupied by a person who participated in the content for the
corresponding course.
Studying language at the
university is Ukrainian.
All questions, related to
university enlistment are considered by the University Admittance Commission.
Control over obeying
Admittance Regulations to the Uzhgorod National University is executed by Ministry of
Education of Ukraine and by the University Admittance Commission.
