While abroad
  • Switch on your mobile phone.
  • Not all cell phones are the same. Your handset may automatically select a network or you may choose a network manually, using your phone's search menu. Before leaving refer to the Users' Guide of your handset.

  • NOTE!There is a possibility to choose a network operator in some countries. If you would like to select one from the available network operators for any reason, use your phone's menu for searching.

  • After searching your phone will display the code of the local operator, which will provide you with communications, when you are roaming.

  • Each time you should dial the phone number in international format even if it is a local call:
  • For GSM subscribers, dial: +

  • Example, to make a call to Odesa, Ukraine, dial:
    + 380 482 ÕÕ ÕÕ ÕÕ , where:
    • + code used in GSM mobile phones to change the international access code from any country worldwide;
    • 380 international country code of Ukraine;
    • 482 city code of Odesa;
    • XX XX XX phone number of subscriber.

  • For NMT subscribers , dial:
  • Different countries have different international access codes.

  • Example, to make a call from Latvia to Odesa, Ukraine, dial:
    00 380 482 ÕÕ ÕÕ ÕÕ , where:
    • 00 international access code to Latvia;
    • 380 international code of Ukraine;
    • YY city code of Odesa;
    • ÕÕ ÕÕ ÕÕ phone number of subscriber.
