Morning: Cost Time

Spend the morning lost in the arts at the Ellen Noel Art Museum.  Then   walk next door and visit the Presidential Museum.  It is the only museum in the country that is solely dedicated to the office of the President.

Spend the afternoon in an oasis paradise. City of Odessa Water Parks offers fun for the entire family with many exciting rides and attractions.  So bring your sunscreen and get ready for some splashing fun.

Interested in politics?  Visit the Presidential Museum and Leadership Library. It is a premier museum dedicated solely to the office of the President.  Permanent exhibitions include First Lady miniature dolls, campaign memorabilia and historical documents.

Begin your morning by taking a trip down memory lane. Visit the Commemorative Air Force Museum and the American Airpower Heritage Museum.  View authentic World War II artifacts, memorabilia and combat aircraft.

Afternoon        

In the mood for shopping?  Music City Mall has it all.  Several well known retailers such as Dillard’s, Mervyn’s, J.C. Penney and Sears call MCM home. You will also find a large food court, movie theaters, the MCM ice-skating rink and several specialty shops. Did you know that Music City Mall offers more than clothes and shoes?  You can also choose a new  home and a  car dealership on the grounds. It’s true.. Music City Mall really does have it all!

Evening        

Start your evening with dinner at the famous  Barn Door Restaurant and Pecos Depot.  The landmark Pecos Depot, built in 1892 by the Panhandle-Santa Fe Railway, was refurbished in 1972 and is now part of the Barn Door Restaurant. The Barn Door is famous for their excellent steaks and blocks of cheese.

See the Odessa Meteor Crater and museum-The phenomenon from out of this World that formed 50,000 years ago!!

Parker Ranch House Museum depicts the Early ranch life of Ector County.

Enjoy dinner and entertainment at Dos Amigos.  The rustic atmosphere of this stable/rodeo arena converted into a fine restaurant is sure to please everyone.  Live bull- rides are available at certain times of the year.  Call for times.
