Pripyat 2006. Winter
Tour of editors Pripyat.com and participants of the Forum, planned in October 2005, occured...
There were discussions about what season is the best for this tour, but taking into account aim of tour - taking pictures of buildings for interactive map of the City, it was decided that winter is the best time.

20 Years On, UN Accused of Ignoring 500,000 Chernobyl Deaths
In a series of reports about to be published, they will suggest that at least 30,000 people are expected to die of cancers linked directly to severe radiation exposure in 1986 and up to 500,000 people may have already died as a result of the world’s worst environmental catastrophe, The Guardian reported Saturday.

Also in the February 2007 the publishing house "Cinnamon Press" will release full circulation of the tenth poetry collection of Estill Pollock named "Available Light", the final part of which named ''Resurrection Suite" it is actually the interpretation of the translations of Lyubov Sirota's poignant poetry on the fate of Pripyat interspersed with chilling diary accounts of the Chernobyl disaster as it progressed.
