The
University's ifrastructure
Nowadays the University has 6 academic and laboratory buildings.
There are 7 hostels for nonresident students and aspirants where
they can stay for their studying period.
The University library has its informational center, which provides
bibliographical and informational service for educational, scientific
and upbringing processes. The library funds are diversified and
complete with literature on agro industry, farm mechanization, zooengineering,
veterinary medicine, accounting and audit, ecological cybernetics,
civil and industrial engineering, food technologies and so on. The
funds have been greatly extended within the last years; the department
of the rear literature is being developed now. Three academic subscriptions,
a subscription of the scientific literature, and four reading halls
are in the students' disposal. There is a literature reception-room
in the library, which annually receives 1000 students, those visiting
literature meetings, taking part in the literature disputes, competitions
and other activities. The library has introduced computer technologies
in its work. There is a computer hall for the readers here and an
electronic catalogue is being organized now.
An informational center "Proton" with its 100 modern
computers lets the students and teaching staff an opportunity to
get into the Internet, or the local Gigabit Ethernet network, where
they can find and copy any information they need.
A University museum exhibits historical documents, pictures, teachers'
personal things and other materials reflecting the history of the
institution.
A students' palace with 850 seats is the cultural center, where
work choir, dancing, and folklore groups, bands of folk and modern
music, etc.
There are two students' dining halls, several bars, buffets, and
shops in the campus.
Medical service is provided with the polyclinics and medical aid
center, also students can make use of a University sanatorium here.
Students' health recreation is carried out by the University's
rest centers at the Black sea, the sea of Azov, and in Lugansk region.
