The Institute of experimental and clinical veterinary medicine puts into practice manufacture, approbation and introduction of a new and improved biological and chemicals. It renders scientific-consultative and practical assistance to live and poultry farming in Ukraine and Commonwealth of Independent States. And it trains scientific manpower.

     The main aspect of the institute’s work is providing the most improved methods of diagnostics, preventive measures and elimination of the most dangerous infectious and invasive disease of farm animals. The Institute of experimental and clinical veterinary medicine works out and makes medications, as well as carries out research studies in the follow directions:
· Biotechnology of vaccine production, serum medications and diagnostics;
· Making, approbation and technology of using chemotherapeutical medications;
·  Ecology, veterinary-sanitary evaluation of fodder and  cattle breeding produce, perfection of technology of getting  ecologically pure products;
·  Essential principles in  virology and microbiology,  the main  patterns in the course of  infectious and invasive processes in different  ecological situations;
·  Immunity and  a  immunodeficiency state correction;
·  System complex in  cubs disease prophylaxis, physiology and pathology of  animals reproduction organs.
          The Institute of experimental and clinical veterinary medicine was given a license for production and realization 174 names of veterinary medications. Medication production is an activity direction of the Institute.
